I was pleased to participate and represent Turkiye in the 12th Congress of the Asian Society for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Allied Professions (ASCAPAP 2026) in Seoul, South Korea.
As part of the symposium “From Clinic to Community: Integrating Neurodiversity, Developmental Psychiatry, and Public Health for the Next Generation,” I presented my work titled “Machine Learning Meets Eye-Tracking to Enhance Early Detection of Social-Communication Deficits.” This work focuses on integrating computational methods with behavioural markers to enhance early identification and intervention strategies in child and adolescent populations.
Beyond the scientific program, the meeting fostered meaningful dialogue, collaboration, and connection among colleagues from across Asia and around the world.
It was an inspiring environment to engage with peers, discuss complex cases, and explore emerging directions in our field.
I am grateful for the opportunity to exchange ideas and contribute to advancing the field of child and adolescent mental health.
